Con Edison Restores Power In Westchester County
NEW YORK, July 23, 2006 – Con Edison crews have restored power to more than 50,500 customers in Westchester County who lost their electricity during three storms in the last week.

These restorations include the approximately 35,000 customers who had their electricity knocked out by the violent storm on Tuesday, July 18. In addition, approximately 9,500 customers lost power on Friday, July 21, and a storm on Saturday, July 22, affected 6,000 customers.

Con Edison appreciates customers' patience during these storms.

Throughout the restoration process, safety has been the top priority for Con Edison employees and customers.

The company was in contact with the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services and local police and fire departments during the entire restoration process.
